Outdoor Adventure for Children Aged 5–12

TFG Forest Camp gives children the chance to explore, learn and play outdoors in a safe, structured and exciting environment. Designed for ages 5–12, our forest camps combine adventure, creativity and nature-based learning — encouraging confidence, teamwork and curiosity whatever the weather.

What Is Forest Camp?

Forest Camp is an outdoor activity programme where children learn through exploration, creativity and hands-on experiences in nature.

Sessions are designed to:

Encourage independence and confidence
Build teamwork and communication
Support emotional wellbeing
Develop problem-solving skills
Inspire curiosity about the natural world

Children are encouraged to explore at their own pace in a supportive, positive environment.

What Activities Will Children Do?

Children will take part in a wide range of age-appropriate outdoor activities, including:

Outdoor games and team challenges
Shelter building
Bug hunting and nature discovery
Learning about wildlife and conservation
Campfire-style activities (where permitted)
Den building
Plant and nature crafts
Camouflage and outdoor problem-solving
Free play and exploration

Please note: Forest Camp takes place outdoors in all weather conditions.
